  3. 3 cdas manteca o en su defecto mantequilla
  4. 250 ml agua caliente
  5. 1 cda sal
  6. relleno
  7. 500 grs carne picada
  8. 2 cebollas
  9. 1 cebolla cambray
  10. 1 jitomate grande
  11. 1 pimiento morrón mediano
  12. 3 limones, el jugo
  13. 1 manojo perejil
  14. 1 cda menta fresca
  15. al gusto sal
  16. pimienta pimienta
  17. al gusto Ají molido o en su defecto ají seco triturado

  1. Masa: Poner en un bol la harina, colocar la grasa derretida en el centro, sal alrededor e ir incorporando agua caliente. Mezclar hasta unir y dejar descansar al menos 15 minutos.

  4. Mezclar todos los ingredientes: la carne molida, el jitomate, la cebolla, el pimiento morrón, las hierbas, las especias, condimentos y la sal. Agregar el jugo de limón e incorporar muy bien.
    Cubrir la preparación con papel film y llevar al refrigerador de 8 a 10 horas para macerar.
  5. Una vez transcurrido el tiempo vas a notar cómo la carne cambió de color. Ahora lo que se debe hacer es escurrir los jugos, tanto el jugo de limón como el jugo que la carne fue soltando durante las horas en las que estuvo reposando.
  6. Armamos las empanadas rellenando los discos de la masa y dándoles la forma triangular clásica de la empanada árabe. Luego hay que colocarlas en una fuente de horno aceitada y cocinarlas a un horno precalentado fuerte hasta que estén bien doradas.

    Servir las empanadas acompañadas de limón para echarle arriba de la carne y a disfrutarla.
